Hakkemni Terms of Service

Welcome to Hakkemni! These Terms of Use govern your access and use of the Hakkemni platform, including any associated services, websites, and mobile applications. By using Hakkemni, you agree to comply with these terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By registering an account or using the Hakkemni platform, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, you must stop using the platform immediately.

2. Services & Platform Availability

Hakkemni connects users with healthcare professionals for consultations, medical advice, and related services. Hakkemni does not provide medical services directly but facilitates communication between users and registered doctors. While we strive to provide uninterrupted service, we do not guarantee that the platform will always be available, error-free, or secure. Hakkemni reserves the right to modify, add, or remove features at its discretion.

3. User Accounts, Responsibilities & Restrictions

Users must provide accurate and complete information during registration. Hakkemni reserves the right to change the required information at any time.
Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials.
Users must be at least 18 years old or have parental consent to use the platform.
Users must not engage in fraudulent, illegal, or unethical activities on the platform.
Users must respect healthcare professionals and other platform participants.
Users must not attempt to hack, reverse-engineer, or disrupt the platform's functionality in any way.
Users must not use the platform for non-medical consultations or services.
Hakkemni reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts violating these Terms of Use.

Doctors using the platform must:

Provide accurate and professional medical advice.
Comply with all applicable medical laws and regulations.
Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to ethical medical practices.
Ensure that all medical advice or treatment plans provided comply with their local medical guidelines and standards.
Provide accurate details about their clinic, professional background, specialties, procedures, certifications, working hours, location, and social media links.
Regularly update their profile information to reflect any changes.
Post images of medical cases responsibly. Hakkemni verifies the accuracy of images but does not assume responsibility for them. Hakkemni reserves the right to modify verification standards at any time.

4. Payments, Subscription Fees & Refunds

Hakkemni operates on a subscription-based model for doctors. Healthcare professionals must pay a subscription fee to access and use the platform's services.
Subscription fees and payment terms will be disclosed before a doctor subscribes to the platform.
Hakkemni does not charge users (patients) for accessing the platform or booking consultations.
Subscription fees are non-refundable unless Hakkemni determines there is a valid reason for an exception.
Hakkemni reserves the right to modify subscription pricing, billing cycles, and refund policies with prior notice to active subscribers.
Payments are processed through third-party payment providers, and Hakkemni is not responsible for any issues arising from payment processing or disputes.

5. Appointment Scheduling, Cancellations & Messaging

Users and doctors can schedule and cancel appointments via the platform. Hakkemni reserves the right to update or modify appointment and cancellation policies at any time.
Doctors and users can communicate via in-app messaging. Misuse of the messaging system, including spam or harassment, may result in account suspension.
Hakkemni is not liable for missed, canceled, or rescheduled appointments between users and doctors.

6. Intellectual Property & User Content

Hakkemni owns all rights to its platform, including trademarks, software, and content.
Users and doctors may not copy, distribute, or modify any platform content without permission.
Any content submitted by users remains the property of the user, but Hakkemni may use it to improve services and platform functionality.
Doctors grant Hakkemni a limited license to display their profile, credentials, and related professional content for the purpose of platform operation and marketing.
Hakkemni reserves the right to remove, modify, or restrict any content that violates its policies or applicable laws.

7. Disclaimers, Limitation of Liability & Indemnification

Hakkemni is a technology platform and does not provide medical advice or diagnosis.
Healthcare professionals are solely responsible for the accuracy of the medical advice they provide.
Hakkemni is not liable for any medical decisions or treatments resulting from consultations on the platform.
The platform should not be used for medical emergencies. Users experiencing a medical emergency should contact emergency services immediately.
Users agree to indemnify and hold Hakkemni harmless from any claims, liabilities, or damages arising from misuse of the platform or violation of these Terms of Use.
Hakkemni is not responsible for any third-party services linked to or used within the platform.
The platform may experience occasional downtime for maintenance, and Hakkemni is not liable for service interruptions.
Users acknowledge that while Hakkemni implements security measures, no system is 100% secure, and users are responsible for protecting their own data.

8. Account Termination, Suspension & Platform Changes

Hakkemni may suspend or terminate access to users or doctors who violate these Terms of Use or engage in any activity that compromises the integrity of the platform.
Accounts that remain inactive for an extended period may be deactivated at Hakkemni’s discretion.
Hakkemni reserves the right to modify or discontinue any part of the platform at any time, with or without notice.
Users and doctors may request account termination, and upon approval, their data will be handled in accordance with the platform’s data retention policy.

9. Governing Law, Dispute Resolution & Force Majeure

These Terms of Use shall be governed by the laws of Lebanon.
Any disputes shall be resolved through mediation or arbitration in accordance with applicable laws. Users agree to first attempt an informal resolution before initiating legal proceedings.
Hakkemni shall not be held liable for any failure or delay in performance due to causes beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, cyberattacks, government actions, or service outages.

10. Data Protection & Privacy Compliance

Hakkemni complies with applicable data protection laws and ensures the confidentiality of user data.
Users and doctors agree to the collection, processing, and storage of their data as outlined in the Privacy Policy.
Users and doctors have the right to request access to or deletion of their personal data, subject to applicable regulations.

11. Amendments & Updates

Hakkemni reserves the right to modify these Terms of Use at any time. Continued use of the platform after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
